- Abstract
- Chapter 10 of the book "Visions & Re-Visions: (Re-)Constructing Science Fiction" is presented. It focuses on Italo Calvino, a prolific writer of criticism. It differentiates Calvino's work as a fiction writer and as a critic. Calvino's cosmocomic collections, which date from the early to mid 1960s, are mentioned such as "T Zero," "The Memory of the World and Other Cosmicomic Stories" and "Cosmicomics Old and New." It highlights Calvino's work "Ti con zero." It is stressed that Calvino's recollections are characterized as a betrayal of their vision. (English)
